Tracking down every landing platform scattered across the highlands requires a keen eye and mastery of broom flight. The North Ford Bog region contains a specific landing platform that completionists will want to touch down on to claim cosmetic rewards and progress toward full map completion. Identifying its exact position on the map saves valuable exploration time as you navigate the northernmost region of the world.
Pinpointing the North Ford Bog Landing Platform
The landing platform in North Ford Bog is positioned near the southern edge of the bog area, sitting high up on a wooden scaffold tower. Players can spot it just south of the Pitt-Upon-Ford Floo Flame fast travel point. Taking flight from this location reveals the circular platform clearly against the swampy backdrop below.
Because it is elevated off the ground on a tall wooden structure, it can be easily missed if you are flying too low over the marshland. Scanning the treeline and wooden structures along the cliffside will help you locate the platform quickly. Keeping up with daily gaming news can also provide helpful guides and updates on hidden collectible locations.
Best Routes to Reach the Platform
The fastest way to reach this landing platform is by fast-traveling to the Pitt-Upon-Ford Floo Flame network location. Once you spawn at the waypoint, summon your flying broom or mount and ascend directly into the air heading south. Fly slightly toward the cliffs bordering the bog, and you will see the platform built into the wooden scaffolding.
Alternatively, if you are traveling north from the Hogsmeade Valley region, follow the river pathway leading into the bog. Gain elevation as you near the border between the two regions, keeping an eye on the high wooden platforms near the cliff edges. Approaching from above makes it simple to spot the distinct painted pattern of the target platform.
How to Successfully Activate the Platform
To register the platform for your collection progress, fly directly above the wooden structure and dismount. Land firmly in the center of the circular platform until the glowing mechanism lights up completely. Once activated, the platform's flame torches will ignite, confirming that the location has been checked off your list.
If the platform does not trigger immediately, make sure you have fully landed on foot rather than hovering right above it. Walking to the exact center of the platform usually solves any detection issues. After activation, check your challenges menu to track your overall progress toward unlocking exclusive reward gear.
